Very good copy of special 1942 edition, lacking dust jacket. Edges soiled and stained a little at bottom front, corners bumped. Head and foot of spine bumped, spine faded due to sunning, lettering panel on spine quite worn. Gray endpapers, not paginated, but there are 192 plates, color and black and white. The plates are in fine condition, with paper yellowing nicely but in good shape. Large book with beige cloth boards, gold lettering on black panel on spine, illustrated front board.
