Mr. Libby resigned his White House position in October 2005 after being indicted on felony counts of perjury, obstruction of justice and false statements relating to the case of the 2003 leak of CIA status of covert CIA officer Valerie Plame to reporters. In March 2007, Mr. Libby was found guilty of perjury and obstruction in the leak investigation.
