Near fine copy of first American edition in near fine Brodarted dust jacket. Edges of boards are fading a bit, else fine. Dust jacket has a 1" chip from lower right corner of front cover, a few small chips to top, sunned, small crease to inside front. Really interesting mother/daughter book, the only one we have seen with the erratum slip laid in. The correction (a date) has been made in the book by hand. Book has green cloth boards with gold lettering on spine, title blind stamped on cover. Burgundy endpapers, 205 pp., lots of wonderful black-and-white photos of famous folk of the day. Appendices. Pristine, tight copy.

Corners and edges of book are rubbed and front cover has a few light stains. Book has gray cloth boards with silver lettering on spine and cover. Salmon endpapers, 257 pp. Corners bumped, damp stains to cover and behind stain referenced above. Book is very clean. Story of growing up in the Dust Bowl era in Oklahoma.
